The efficient Bosch Performance CX electric drive (Gen.4) supports you with a powerful 85 Nm up to 25 km/h. The most powerful electric motor from Bosch is perfectly integrated, the THRON² drives wonderfully balanced. In eMTB mode, the motor optimally adjusts the support according to your performance. The new 750 Wh battery (Smart System) brings you endless trail fun. The battery is integrated into the down tube, but can be removed for charging.

OPTIMIZED KINEMATICS FOR STRONG PROGRESSION

With the further development of our well-known FOLD kinematics, you can now have even more fun on your tours with your THRON² 6.8. We retained the popular sensitivity of the FOLD, but changed the positioning of the kinematics in the frame to provide better resistance to punctures. The characteristic curve is completely progressive and ensures a super stable chassis, so you feel safe on any terrain. E-MTBs in particular, with their additional weight due to the motor and battery, benefit from the greater progression. This feature allows you to master any trail while the chassis still provides you with enough comfort for long trail rides. Additionally, a lower standover height provides more freedom to play with your THRON² 6.8 on the trail.

VERSATILE USES

From trail tours in alpine terrain to commuting to bikepacking, everything is possible with the THRON². With appropriate modifications, a wide variety of equipment can be retrofitted at the designated assembly points-depending on where your E-MTB tour is going. In addition, the specially developed CIS design ensures a tidy look in the cockpit and always ensures perfect shifting and braking. All cables run on the handlebars into the stem and through the headset into the frame. You can also charge your devices via a USB-C charging port on the top tube.
